How to plan a group stay at Mana Beach House

Taking a whole house with a group is a different kind of holiday to booking a room each. Everyone lands in the same place, the days stay loose, and no one is watching a clock at a hotel breakfast. Here is how we would plan a group stay at Mana.

Start with who sleeps where

Mana accommodates up to twelve guests across four ensuite suites, with five king beds in total. The Double King Suite has two king beds, which suits friends sharing or older kids, and the Grand Retreat and King Lounge Suite each add a double sofa bed. Because every suite has its own ensuite, nobody is queuing for a bathroom or drawing the short straw on the fold-out. Sort the rooms before you arrive and the first evening is calm rather than a negotiation.

Feed the group without hosting the whole time

The kitchen is built for long lunches, with three ovens, a butler’s pantry and a dining table that seats twelve. If you would rather not cook, a private chef can come to the house, or start the stay with a grazing platter waiting on arrival. Both can be arranged ahead through Enhance Your Stay. For nights out, Fins, Mahsuri Thai and Salt Bar & Bistro are all a short walk away in the village.

Give the days a loose shape

Mornings tend to sort themselves between the pool, the beach directly opposite and a ride along the coastal path on the house bikes. Afternoons are for the steam room, a book by the water, or a slow lunch that runs long. You do not need to plan much. The house does most of the work.

If your gathering is a celebration

Group stays and events are handled separately. A celebration stay for your twelve overnight guests is straightforward; hosting additional daytime or evening guests needs prior approval under one of the occasion options. Have a look at the Occasions page so you know the limits before you invite anyone.
