The essentials
Everything you need to know about a stay at Mana.
-
How many bedrooms are there, and how does everyone sleep?
Mana accommodates a maximum of 12 guests across four oversized ensuite suites, with five king beds in total. One suite, The Double King Suite, has two king beds. The Grand Retreat and The King Lounge Suite each add a double sofa bed, which is how the house reaches twelve. Every suite has its own private ensuite.
-
Where is Mana Beach House?
Mana is at 12 Cylinders Drive, Salt Beach, Kingscliff NSW 2487, in Salt Village on the Tweed Coast of New South Wales, with Salt Beach directly opposite. It is approximately 15 minutes from Gold Coast Airport and approximately 30 minutes from Byron Bay.
-
Is there a pool, and is it heated?
Yes. Mana has a heated 15-metre saltwater pool. It is heated during the cooler months, and heating outside those months can be arranged on request.
-
What else is at the house?
A private gym and a mosaic steam room, a chef's kitchen with a butler's pantry and a curated wine cellar, a rumpus room with a pool table, a double-sided fireplace, and a covered alfresco bar that opens to the pool. Complimentary bikes, surfboards and beach equipment, a fast EV charger and a secure garage are all included.
-
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am, both NSW local time.
-
How much does it cost?
Rates vary depending on your dates, length of stay and number of guests, with weekends, school holidays and peak periods priced higher. Enter your preferred dates and guest numbers in the live booking calendar for the most accurate rate. Booking direct always gives you our best available rate.
-
How do extra guests affect the price?
Rates are based on the number of guests you book for. If your group grows, additional guest charges are calculated and settled before checkout, so the total always reflects your final numbers rather than being hidden away.
-
Are pets allowed?
Mana welcomes small, non-shedding dogs by prior approval. A $250 pet fee applies per dog. Dogs must not be left unattended, must stay off furniture, beds and rugs, and guests must bring their own dog beds and bowls. No grooming at the house, and all dog hair must be removed before departure.
-
Can we hold an occasion or event?
Mana accommodates a maximum of 12 overnight guests. With prior approval, approved daytime occasions may include up to 20 people in total and must conclude by 5pm, and selected elopements and special celebrations may include up to 30 people in total and must conclude by 9pm. All occasions require prior written approval and an individually quoted fee, and only registered overnight guests may remain afterward. Full detail is on the Occasions page.
-
How does booking and verification work?
Booking is direct and priced in AUD, with live availability and instant confirmation. Before arrival, guest verification is completed through our provider Truvi, in line with short-term rental requirements. You can choose between a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
-
What are the payment and cancellation terms?
Payment is made directly at the time of booking in AUD. Cancellation terms depend on your dates and how far ahead you book, and the exact conditions that apply to your stay are shown and confirmed during booking. The full booking terms are available on the Terms page, and we are always happy to talk them through before you book.
-
Is the house private and secure?
External security cameras cover the driveway and entry doors only, for perimeter security. A noise sensor in the main outdoor area monitors levels to protect the neighbours and does not record audio. There are no cameras in any private or indoor living area.
-
Do we need a car?
Not once you arrive. Salt Village restaurants, cafes and shops are a short walk away, and the house comes with complimentary bikes for the beachside boardwalk between Kingscliff and Cabarita. There is secure garage parking and driveway space.
-
Are there quiet hours?
Yes. Outdoor music is off by 8pm, and we ask for minimal outdoor noise between 10pm and 8am, so the home sits comfortably within its residential street.
